Hi everyone. I have an original xbox 360. I just bought a HC1500 projector and plan on hooking my xbox up to it. The only problem is that the factory cable is only 8 feet long whcih wont reach my projector (the audio optical is fine because the xbox will be right below my receiver. Is there are way I can get some kind of connectors to just tie in another set of component cables to I can just extend it? Or will I lose signal? I can find the same set of XBOX cables that extend longer than 8 feet. Thanks.

This is a long shot, but email Blue Jeans cable and see if they can extend the cables for you. Probably wont be cheap, but better than mid way connectors if they will even do it.

i agree if you use connectors the quality could degrade its bad enough as it due to being analoque but imagen if you extended it the incorrect way?

The longer XBOX brand cables are going to be cheap (in quality). I think getting some broadcast grade cable and running that with the adapters would be your best option. The monoprice adapters linked above look alright...
Wiring a one-piece adapter would be tricky... it's a matter of trying to source a raw proprietary XBOX plug.
