I just borrowed my friend PS3 to check out the bluray player. when I hooked it up to where my regular dvd player input was, it only gives me a black screen. Is it the ps3 or the TV. I thought the PIO 5070 was capable of recieving 1080p signal. Help!

How did your friend have the PS3 connected? Go into the PS3's setup and make sure HDMI is enabled..

When the ps3 is off, hold the power button on the PS3 itself for like 5 seconds, you should here a couple beeps and it will automatically detect the best signal it can send. It will then prompt you on screen with the option to keep the setting or not. You'll want to keep the setting if you can see it.
