Ryck, Kevin Thomas, 22, of North Platte died Saturday, April 5, 2008, in North Platte. Arrangements are pending with Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore.

In the early morning hours Saturday, the body of a young adult North Platte man was discovered in the playground area of Centennial Park.
The cause of death appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to North Platte Police Investigator Jeff Foote.
Police cordoned off the area as traffic in the park increased and young children arrived for a day of soccer games.
“We sealed off the area to keep exposure to the kids at a minimum,” Foote said.
Police and city park employees finished at the scene around 10 a.m. Saturday and the area was reopened.
“There are no dangers or concerns with the playground,” Foote said.
Investigation continues into the incident.

oh jeez. Terrible news. I'm speechless except to say that if anyone has trouble dealing with thier problems, please seek help. Sad day for AVS.
