Thinking about moving my 50" Samsung out of the main viewing room in the basement and into the living room. Any recommendations on a 58" for around 2500? We sit about 10 feet so I am guessing go 1080p, as I can sometimes see sde on the 50". I have seen a 58" Panny at costco for around 2k but that was only 720, so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Panasonic's TH-58PZ700U can be found for a hair under $3000, it's 1080p and has a great picture. Samsung has the PN58A550 for a little bit less. I don't think you'll be able to find a 1080p 58" for under $2500 just yet but that day is fast approaching.
If this set is one that your planning to use as your main display for the next 3-5 years I would save up and get the best you possibly can. You don't want to go cheap and get stuck with something you're not happy with.
Good luck.
