Is the PZ worth the extra money at this distance? If so, why? Thank you.

No. I sit 7-8 feet away and I'm getting the PX.

It really depends. I've never seen the pz80, but the pz85 looks better to me than the px80 regardless of distance since it just looks better to me regardless of the resolution difference. So just make sure you see both from 10' and determine if there is a difference to you.

Most people cant see the difference at your distance, but yes you should for sure go look at them.
