New to the forums so in case I missed this ...

Today as part of my ongoing HT build for the new remodeled basement I stopped at Best Buy to check on the Pro150 availability. According to the person Im working with there (just 1 of many places) he said that as of today he can no longer order the 150 and other than their floor model have none in stock. I was curious what the rest of you may have heard. I find it hard to imagine that Pio will not have the next gen available until late July or August before the 151 (correct model?) Just wondering if perhaps they will push up availability due to the recent downturn. Any opinions or rumors out there that someone is willing to share?

BTW this was at one of Best Buys main stores (Magnolia) they use for testing , bringing dignitaries etc. as its located very close to their corporate HQs, so I doubt this is isolated to just this store. I was close to making the purchase of the entire system but now Im not sure to wait or go in search of one somewhere else.

Thanks for the info.....Sorry I was not a little clearer...but I wasnt thinking of getting the 150 from Best Buy but its a good place to look sometimes :D

The 150s have been bad for a few months now. Not going to get better I hope Pioneer will do better on the new models but that will not be for a while.

Over the past three months, my Magnolia store has not been able to order any PRO-150's. However, about a week ago, around ~100 showed up in our local warehouse. That # is down to ~25 now, but we can still order them. The same cannot be said for the PRO-110, though.

SLCentral, I agree ^^, PRO-150FDs have been flowing in steadily for the past two months, but PRO-110FD have been very tight.

I find it hard to imagine that Pio will not have the next gen available until late July or August before the 151 (correct model?) This is the normal cycle as the previous year's models sell out and retail stores have limited or no inventory until the new crop of PDPs arrive.

The "good news" for you is you'll have the opportunity to buy a PRO-151FD this September/October.
