Given that the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Trade Show is 1 week away, I decided to have some fun and added a Podcast about the Super Large (Mega) Trade Shows.

Unlike the other Podcasts, this one has a bit of light humor as well as funny, but true stories about past trade shows.

I wonder if there'll be anyone there who I can complain directly to about the excessive addition of often useless OTA subchannels and corresponding degradation in picture quality?

Useless is a matter of opinion. I watch the pbs subchannels on a regular basis. they are informative tv not offered anywhere else.

The companies in the booths just make the equipment and the people from the TV Stations are walking the show floor. (Not everyone walking the show floor works for a TV Station.) Some who give presentations do work at TV Stations, but overall this show isn't the best place to reach the TV Stations...

Your best shot to reach the TV People is to contact your local stations directly.

I won't be able to update my Podcasts from NAB, but after I return, I will update my Podcasts with news from NAB.

Good question but doubtful that the NAB will take any action adverse to the interests of its most powerful, influential members.

While I've liked some of the added content offered by the various subchannels, there is concern that OTA PQ might actually get worse in the future as increasing numbers of subchannels are added.
