Sony 24" WEGA flat tube model KV24fs120.
In the service menus, Item: "VP2 NTSC SVideo1 GAMM 16: 1 NVM:OK"
keeping gamma at 1 produces the best blacks to lower-mids. However, the gamma setting does not hold, reverting to 0(factory default) after anywhere from a few days to a week.
All other changes I have made in the service menu have stuck - geometry, etc. Just not the above gamma setting.
Why?
