Lately my Channel Guide will not display at an acceptable resolution. No matter if Native is "on" or "off" or whatever resolution I set the STB to, the guide is always too big for the screen and a lot of information is outside of the viewing area. I only really noticed this a few weeks ago. Did something happen on the outside (i.e. Directv change something, etc.) because I've tried every setting that I know to try on the TV (MITS 65" 1080p) and the receiver (hdr20-700.)
I've unplugged the STB already and I've set the MITS to only allow 480i, but nothing seems to work.
Any Ideas?
(I didn't know where to post this, so please feel free to move and direct me)
Thanks
EDIT: RESOLVED
It wasn't anything to do with Directv or the TV, it was the controller for the MITS itself. It has a "FORMAT" button on it that was accidentally pressed and it overrode the STB setting. A couple of pushes on it corrected the "problem"
sorry for the stupid move on my part.
