Hi ya all,
I have a quite old Bose Lifestyle 12 system, bought in 2001. I'm planning to upgrade my remote chaos to an Phillips Pronto TSU9400, but before I go ahead I need to verify that I actually can control my Bose setup through IR...
Please note that this system has no RS232 input.
After browsing the web, forums and so on, I discovered that there were one solution back in 2002, called "10-CM2 Bose RF Controller", that came from Audio Authority and could also be bought from BlueDo.com. But now, it seems it's "gone out of production". At least I can't find it.
Audio Authority has an IR Receiver called C-1024, but this is only compatible with Bose Lifestyle systems from series 20 and up (requires RS232 input).
Does anyone have an idea to how I can overcome my challenge? Cheers.
