Ive read the similar posts, but my question is i have a Velodyne spl1000r which has an IR jack on the back of it, and i also noticed my Pioneer 100 disc changer has one too. is there a way to plug something into these and put the eye somewhere where i can use my remote to control the sub without having to get up and go face it? i have the range extender with the Harmony 890 but i dont want to put on of those eyes on the front of my sub if i dont have too.

Try running a 3.5mm Mono cable from the Harmony extender to the sub and see if it work.s

A 3.5mm mono cable works for my receiver and you'll find lots of threads where people have had success with that cable and various components.
