charter is coming out to install this. just got new tv today. yea! does one of these boxes hook to the tv with a single hdmi cable? and if so will i need to provide the cable? thanks. don't know what brand or model box.

Most come with component cables for the sake of compatibility.
Providers don't want to give you hdmi cables to not be liable for hdmi incompatibilities should one arise with your tv ;)

Either this or they're in a cahoot with AV stores that sell 200$ hdmi cables to people buying a 700$ tv :rolleyes:
