Hi guys (and gals),
I apologize in advance if this post is inappropriate or anything, but I thought somebody might actually like this, and I though this was an excellent venue to spread the word.
I've been developing a suite of programs to use with the USB-UIRT device. Currently It's a suite of five applications, a manager to learn and manage codes, a remote control layout designer, a remote control GUI application to use those layouts, A socket server application which enables the GUI application to send IR codes via network and last but not least, an HTTP Server which turns any browser into a remote control. I'm actually using my iPod touch as a remote control right now, it's really nifty using the touch screen and all :)
Anyways, I've set up a dedicated website for this pet project of mine, you can read everything about it and get a free copy to try if you'd like. I'd also appreciate any feedback you might have.
The URL to the website is http://rc.hot.is/
Hope someone can make use of this :)
Regards,
Haukur H. Thorsson
