I use my DirecTV Sony TiVo but I am getting a TV in the bedroom I would love to be able to network them. Are there any such stand alone units I can use with Directv?
Not that bothered about HD, SD is fine.

You can just get a series 2 duel tuner tivo ($50 direct from Tivo) and away you go..

I have 3 Tivo's (theater room, and two bedrooms) and have them networked, and transferring shows between them and can even stream movies from my PC to any of the devices.

Does that mean I would have to give up my DirecTV TiVo since it's not networked? I bought the WiFi adapter for it 2 yrs ago and never used it. If I buy 2 TiVos I don't know how I would control DirecTV.

One possibly off topic Question. I have a wireless network in my home with a 6 Meg Router/Modem. I have a Linksys Hub Router I used before the router and modem were in the same box. Is there a way to hook up the HR20-700 using the Linksys Router hard wired using and Ethernet cable to the Wireless network to get the On Demand Video from DirecTv?
