Hello all, I just got a new tv console and lo and behold my old center channel will not fit.

The space is 17.5 wide, by 6 high, by anything deep. All my research has me looking at the yamaha NS-C325 as the front runner.

Two questions, 1 - is that speaker any good, and 2 - can anyone recommend a good center that would fit at any price?

#1 rule of HT...make sure you match all three fronts as close as possible...if the speaker you want is a match to your fronts, then get it and enjoy.

Find a new location for your old (I suppose matching?) center or exchange the TV stand. Why would you buy a new stand that doesn't accomodate your existing setup?

Check out the Aperion 4c, its one of their new models that just came out. It will mostly fill the place so it should look fine and sound great.
