This is a strange one. I hope someone can help. I have a TivoHD and a JVC home theater in a box. In order to get 5.1 DD to the HT I am using optical toslink cable. Since I also want to enjoy the 5.1 DD capabilities of my Xbox360 I am using a Nyrius SW100 switcher. Here's where it gets wierd.

When I run the TivoHD optical cable directly into the HT it works just fine. If I run it through the switcher. It doesn't work. The problem isn't the cable or the switcher because the Xbox360 works just fine and I have switched the cables around several times to see if I had a bad cable.

Any ideas?:confused:
