I have a Sony KV-27HS420 television and use it for console gaming quite a bit. I always turn the console off when I'm not playing. However, sometimes I forget to turn the television itself off. Even though there is no video signal, the on-screen display stays on in bright green. Should I be concerned about burn-in here? Can the OSD burn-in on the television? Also, is there a way to make the OSD turn off after a while when there is no signal? It does this when there is a video signal, but for some reason it stays on when there isn't one.

i wouldn't worry about it, besides.. having the OSD shows that you left the tv on so you won't forget. :D
