Needless to say I am not a computer expert. I am having trouble programming my MX-980. Are any members able to make a file I can download on my 980 for my components? I am willing to offer a payment for services.

Have you tryied RC forums? (remote central)

Maybe you can find the info you need under the "complete control by urc" on RC forums. Depending on how many devices you use, get someone else to do it could be expensive.

Either way if you own the MX-980 you might want to go there. (RC)
AVS forums are great but the "remote control area" is mostly an harmony forum.
