Both Buffalo Electronics and Xantec products preform the same function. Buffalo specks call out 9 volts and Xantec calls out 12 volt.

Buffalo has a $30 IR pinhole receiver vs the Xantec pinhole receiver that runs 2 or 3 times as much. But there is a Voltage difference.

So can you mix Buffalo product in to and existing Xantec 12 volt system?

Most likly I will just buy the Buffalo stuff and try it.
