I am going to get my brother the 40 GB for his Birthday and was wondering if there are any Blu-Ray deals anymore where you get some for free?

I'm glad I bought my PS3 right at the end of the promotion. I got 12% off at Best Buy with a coupon, plus I got the 5 free Blu-Ray movies. I sold SpiderMan 3 and four of the Blu-Ray movies I received, and that brought the total cost of my 40GB PS3 down to $280.

I'd expect with the format war over, the promos are gone for good.

It's not like it's the best selection and it takes forever anyway. Still waiting on mine, going on 3 months.

I paid $300 (after the $100 Sony Card offer) for 40gb version ... Using this card, there is no finance charge for 12 months if I pay only $10 per month. No that I cannot afford to pay in full ... but heck if they are giving me a full year to pay the balance ... I will take advantage of it.

That might not be as cheap as the $280 that moshock paid ... but given that I did'nt have to anything more than buy the player ... I am happy.

Poor baby! I paid $500 for my 20gb and got Talladega Nights with it... a crippled version, to boot. I'd still rather have a full-spec Spider-Man 3 feature disc.

Well if anyone has Best Buy reward zone, I got a coupon in the mail the other day good through this weekend, 10% of video games, including the PS3, I'm going to use that and some reward zone coupons to get the price down.

same thing here and not a thing yet. my buddy submitted his exactly 2 weeks earlier than I did, and he got his already!

I sent mine in on 2/28 and just got it 2 days ago. It should be coming for you anytime now.

I think it will depend on what titles you choose to how long it takes to receive them. I sent mine in mid Jan and got the movies in mid March, took them all (plus spidey 3) to Hastings for trade in credit for a couple games..

How did you get 12% off? The Best Buy coupon always excludes PS3 hardware and accessories.
