I just purchased a Samsung HL-T6176S (fingers crossed for no bowing).
I have a late model Yamaha receiver with Klipsch surround system speakers and receive my signals from a DishNetwork receiver.
(I don't have the HD receiver yet, but that is coming)
What connectors should I purchase for my setup?
Just a single HDMI Cable?
Oh, I use the Harmony 880 remote as well.
Kids have a PS2, but I think I will go buy a PS3 now for the gaming and Blu-Ray.
Wow, no help all morning...
You all must be busy....
I could use suggestions on best way to connect all the gear....

If the Dish and Samsung both have HDMI than I would recommend connecting them together with that.
If the Yamaha has a digital audio input, you can run the digital sound from your Dish that way (optical or digital cable). You only need HDMI on your receiver if you need to switch more than source (and even that can be done with an external HDMI switch).
Well, I actually don't have any HD stuff yet, just the TV.
The Dish is not yet switched to HD, the PS2 is not HD, the DVD player is not HD. All of that is not coming for awhile.
So which connectors would you suggest?

I think that is the connector that I have from the PS2

I think that is the connector that I have from the PS2Component has 3 video ouputs. Composite has one and so does S-Video. The order of video quality is HDMI, Component, S-Video, composite.
