That's pretty slick! Looks like the old Metroids. I tried UT3 for a few weeks and couldn't get into it.

I saw that one after I wrote my first message. I wasn't even referring to the Metroid skin which is really cool. Too bad I didn't like the game.

Cool, price adjustment! I didn't like the game but at least I can get a $10 refund from Amazon.

In all honesty all 3. Graphics are okay but the frame rate was choppy. Gameplay and controls felt too "PC"ish. It's by no means a horrible game just not my cup of tea. If you enjoy arcade PC style shooters then you would probably love it.

Really, you have choppy framerate? Even the modded maps mine runs smooth. Sure not as buttery smooth as COD4 but better than the average console FPS.

Maybe I'm too critical. COD4 has completely spoiled me I guess. I wanted to like UT3 too. Some of the mods are really cool.

I can understand that as I'm fps whore, I just felt UTIII is one of the better performers, COD4, URII and Resistance being the top 3 in smoothness. Aside from COD4 I can't think of any other 60fps shooters this gen on any consoles. Last gen that was big reason why I loved Timesplitters 1 and 2, silky smooth gameplay.

Dunno, I haven't played the PS3 version... I just have it for PC... and love it...

It is a bada$$ game , no doubt about it . Worth it at $60 but at $40 it should be like Mustangs and Ipods ;) .

Yep I agree, this game is great online and offline. I have never had a choppy framerate or lag online. And the mods make it that much better. A must have!

The ability to use much more powerful hardware for better imaging, graphics, polygons, etc. means better frame rates and smoother play? That's likely all it gives you. I hate FPS on consoles but if more games offered KB/M support I might very well change my mind.
