One of the devices I control with the 1000 is a B&K pre/pro. Anytime I use zone 2 (running various outdoor speakers) I have to scroll through several screens of soft buttons in the device menu to accomplish the task at hand - selecting the zone, selecting the input, etc. The B&K also times out if you don't get to the buttons quickly enough...

Is there a way to re-order the soft buttons to make the control easier - essentially getting the functions I need on a single screen..?

In the remote software find the activity you are trying to change and click on customize.

Now click Change the behavior of buttons.

Click on the Additional Buttons tab at the top.

These are your soft key commands. Click on the up or down arrows to move a command, or click on the trash can to delete it. You can also just type in a different label and change the device and command rather than moving a command up numerous pages.

If you are just trying to change the device mode soft buttons click on the More Options button for the device.

Then click on the customize the device mode for this device.

Click on the Additional Buttons tab, and follow the same instructions I posted above.

These instructions are using the online software for the 880, but I think it is pretty much the same as the installed software and across all remotes.
