Hello everyone!

I have a question about cables and I havent seen this question asked anywhere else.

What is the difference between HDMI "1.3a category 2" vs "1.3b"?

I also noticed that 1.3b category 2 cable is also available. Which version should I buy? Monoprice only caries 1.3a category 2. If 1.3b cat 2 is better then where can I get the best price for this cable? I want to future proof my purchase!

Thanks for your help...

I forgot where I read it, it was on here though, but the difference between 1.3a vs 1.3b isn't going to be noticeable by the general public.

almost like the tag on the mattress that says you can go to jail for tearing this off (something along those lines) but that's not meant for us that's meant for manufactures and whatnot.

I'm trying to find that article where I saw that about cable 1.3a vs b

Thanks for the information. I'm going with the cheaper 1.3a Cat 2... I appreciate your help! :D
