Hi have this mediagate hd350 for a year now. I have upgraded the firmware a few times without any problem.
my latest problem is that when I turn it on now it keeps flashing and the red power light would not come on.
I disconnect the power cable, a first few times it seems to fix the problem but not anymore. I now have to open the box, remove the Hard drive and plug it back in and it only works when it feels like it.
As soon as the red power on light comes on, it will work otherwise it keep flashing.
I have upgraded to the latest firmware a month ago from airteklink website.

just in case you read this post. I have fixed the problem myself. it was the Western Digital WD3200JB (320GB) IDE drive that caused the problem. As soon as I swap it with my seagate 500GB, problem disappear.
however, the interesting thing is I have used this 320GB drive in this unit for more than a year now and it starts playing. My 320GB hard drive is still working as a USB drive fine. just that my MG350HD doesn't like it anymore.
