Where did you find this thing?!! Feeding on customer misinformation and fear, and the homepage tells whoppers. Ah well, when I can get the Echostar for $190 on sale now, what do I care? But they make it ever so clear that the box won't work until next February, because "digital signals will not be broadcast before then." No point in testing what you get. What they say about the big lie, do you think people might actually fall for this?

It happens with Comcast too. Verizon FIOS is being installed in my neighborhood and Comcast sent out some door to door sales people telling them if they don't sign up for a year contract that they will lose their cable within the next few weeks because of a digital conversion. I wonder how many of my neighbors fell for it.

If you click around the website you'll find it is a multi-level marketing scheme. They try to set you up to sell DTV boxes at a premium and pass the profit to your upline.

Wow!This is so they can sell you a box that has nothing inside. They are already telling you it won't work until 2/09 so you will be content to pay your money, sit tight and wait. Then when it still doesn't work in 2/09 they will be long gone on some beach in the Caman's.
