I have a Panasonic Viera 42" that I have had since February...It is located at the Front of a rectangular room...the right side of the room has a window with curtains on it...that are kind of old...they do not completely block out the sunlight...the sunlight does not directly hit the plasma screen but it reaches it from a side angle...as I said there are curtains lessening the power of the sunlight...but I wanted to know if any damage could occur to the tv screen...

Interesting question. My TV is in the same situation; in the corner, sun coming through the window occasionally hits the TV after passing through a (not completely opaque) curtain. Hope it's not a problem!

I'm sure your plasma will be fine. Enjoy !
