I dont know if Im just imagining things but at times I hear the sound getting softer and then back to normal? Has anyone else ever hear of this happening?? I have only had the TV for couple of days...If I rewind the programing I hear it in the same spots so wondering if its the programming and not the TV..
Any suggestions or advice would be great

I dont know what's weirder.....this volume issue that you speak of, or the fact that you are actually using the TH65's speakers!!! On that TV??? Criminal!..............sorry, Im just jealous

The speakers sound is actually quite nice on this TV. Infact quite impressive!! It just seems that the volume goes up and down at times?? Just noticed it last night...My wife says she doesnt notice it but for some reason I keep hearing it...I dont want to have to use my other speakers for every show that i watch

if your able to rewind (vhs/dvr?) and notice the same issue, you've found the problem, it's that source.

On a lot of digital stations sound will go up and down a lot. 95% of the time it is the source. Does turning AI sound "on" help it level out? There is also, a source leveler too, it might help, but less so.

as posted above, sounds like it is the source. but if you really want to double check for your peace of mind you can try a couple simple test. play a known music video and try a couple of analog channels whicha re generally flatter.

btw, are you using an HDMI link between the stb and the tv?

Yes using all HDMI cables between Dish Network and also PS3... I think its probably the source because not really noticing at this time....Oh well I guess Im just paranoid about somthing going wrong with the TV from the get go

Just curious but what are your sound settings? I'm asking because I just got my daughter the 42PZ700 who lives in another state so i can't hear it or adjust it & I'm looking for different Sound Settings that people are using on the 700/750 series for her to try. Thanks.

As far as Volume Levels go as above it's usually the Cable/Sat Company & it's too bad EVERYONE isn't complaining about it to them because then they would do something about it.
