I'm in the process of designing a dedicated theater room above my garage. It will be approximately 12' wide and 26-28' deep, with the seating area located from about 11-18 feet back from the screen. The opposite end will have a built in bar consisting of a single row of cabinets against the wall under a counter top with upper cabinets and a stemware rack. My question is this: would using glass in the upper cabinet doors be a bad idea as far as creating reflections from the projected image on the opposite end of the room? Would it be better to use solid wood doors?
