Okay my system consist of a PS3 and a 360 running to my Pioneer receiver via HDMI. My cable box is running to it also thru components. I recently purchased a Monster cable hdmi switcher to help with switching between my DLP tv and my new optoma HD65 PJ.
So the problem is last night I hooked upp my PJ for the first time and was able to play my XBOX, but when I went to watch a HD video stored on my HD it wouldnt let me and the xbox logo came on w/ a white flickering screen. I could hear the audio though?. My PS3 on the other hand woludnt let me see a thing from the beginning. Until I switch back to my tv and swapped it to 720p, when I went back to the PJ I got the menu screen. As soon as I put a BR video on it went black again...
The 360 works fine thru the switcher on my regular tv, but the PS3 doesnt show an image. The cable running from the PJ to the switcher Is from BlueJeans cable and from the switcher to my tv is Monster.
Its a bit confusing I know but is something I need to get worked out today. Just seeing if anyone might have a clue where to start...:(
