I've got an opportunity to pick up my Berklines at a pretty good price (a sale to somebody else that fell through). Unfortunately, what is available is three left arms, three right arms, and three two-arm chairs. To get my configuration (front row: four across; back row: love seat on the right, two chairs on the left), I'll need to remove one of the arms on one of the chairs.
- Has anybody ever taken the arm off a Berkline? The seller mentioned removing four bolts and cutting or swapping out a metal support.
- How are Berks normally connected together? Are the bolted together somehow, or do they just sit next to each other in a row?
Here's what I'll have, three left arm, three right arm, two double arm:

that will make two rows of four easily. But to get the love seat (and 5 extra inches of aisle by the back row), I'll need to take an arm off on of the double arm chairs. I want to make sure that is doable before I bite.
Thanks!
