ok I was able to get the software to work and register, and i have been using it for just about 2 hours and was able to creat this file and post to the web the quality is not the best as i downsized it for apple ipod .mov file size ...im still learning how to do the rest

the first video you posted has the download blocked. so I can't tell what the render settings were. But the video looks out of focus too. and there is alot of blurring with the pans.
The second video posted ( I assume is yours) at first I though this was blurry too but you rendered it as a MOV@640X360 which could be the problem.
Vimeo supports 1280 X 720 so take advantage of it. What software are you using?
Try rendering as a WMV or h.264 @ 1280x720. it might help
Paul - Vimeo does not allow h.264 vidoes as far as I can tell ...and I am not sure how to do the wmv yet ...I need more practice
The video thats blurry is an old tape from a Canon A1 digital circa 1990 ! ..it was the best camera way back then ....

good you got a video rendered and posted to vimeo. Now try the settings in the link above. They will work. If you have any problems just ask.
