End of April a new NMT model will start spreading called the eGreat EG-M31A NMT. This is the first amongst the NMT players to future a USB Slave so copying data can be fast to the unit (see methods below). The player is loaded with no less than 512MB of memory which shows in the use of the player. The player is small and can hold an internal hard drive (square box). The rear harbors a few SPDIF style connectors for Component and then some and all cables (except network cable) are provided in the box.
We recently reviewed the unit and the results made eGreat change the colling system and layout a little of the front panel. It is fully plastic but works great, just like most NMT's do with the benefit of having the USB slave now...

Copying with USB slave
- In case you want the NMT apps installed, USB slave with windows pc's will only be possible using ext2/3 drivers for windows to read the partition. In general we recommend installing the NMT apps on a USB stick and then use the drive as NTFS.
Using the drive as NTFS will however disable FTP and SMB mapping options as the NTFS support is "read only" so copying files using other methods will not be possible this way.
