Difficult because M&K is out of business (trying to be resurrected in Denmark), and that most all M&K owners still enjoy their speakers and have no desire to get something else.

Add to that that even though they built great speakers, they didn't appeal to everyone, especially in the aesthetics department, and so they didn't get as much penetration into the market as other speakers of their day enjoyed.

So............difficult to find.

My take is that there aren't a lot of M&K owners in this forum and If they were interested in selling they would have already sold (when the original company went under) or they would already be using the classified section.

As an owner of three S-150's, four SS-200's, and an MX-350 they are great speakers for HT. have you listened to them before and know that they are what you are looking for?

There is an official M&K thread a few pages back that I believe lists some contact information on the new M&K company. I believe someone has already ordered and received a set of S-150's. Have you tried going that route or our you just trying to find a good deal on some used ones someone is trying to dump.

I have seen these speakers in the classifieds, audiogon, videogon and/or ebay from time to time. I wasn't ready to purchase them the last time I saw any for sale. Now I am ready and I am just putting it out there so that if anyone has a set that they are thinking about selling or tried to sell but couldn't for whatever reason, maybe this post will prompt them to re-list them or contact me.

Years ago I listened to a set at a local dealer and I loved them, but I wasn't ready back then to buy them.

Of course a good deal on some lightly used ones would be best, but also I am a little bit unsure of the "new" M&K company. I don't know anything about them.
