Check out Volume 6 of Beatles Anthology on DVD Video. Excellent mix of "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "Penny Lane" Perhaps what is a sample of what is already in the vaults at EMI's Abbey Road.

We need new CDs or DVD-As for The Beatles albums. The CDs which came in 1987-1988 are very dry compared to Anthonlogy Series 1995-1996 or One or Let it Be , Naked in 2001-2003. Reissues up to the sound quality of the Love DVD -A , even in stereo and mono only should be the goal. Would be great to here the mono mixes of Help to the White Album in mono.(WhiteAlbum was never released in mono in the USA) The icing on the cake would be one DVD-A or SACD of the songs that have already been remixed and released in one place and songs hopefully that will be remixed in 5.1 or have been and not released yet.

Another really nice "taste" is "I Am The Walrus" on the Love DVD-A since it is presented almost completely intact. It's the best I've ever heard this track sound in stereo, and the surround mix takes it even further beyond.

More stuff like that is the grail for me. It's the music.

I was in hopes that we would see more multi-ch cuts from the later albums.
