Put the kids to bed early, poured a microbrew, and plugged BD Rescue Dawn into the PS3. Uh-oh, won't play English. Actually English under set-up is there, but it's won't let me select it !!
My audio is digital(not HDMI, recelver does'nt have capability). I have the latest PS3 update(2.3).
Do I have a setting wrong somewhere on the PS3? I assume so, but I have no idea which one. This is the only time I have had this issue, and it's the first BD with the True DTS HD Lossless track.

You may have a bad disc, but never heard of a US version BD that does not play in English. Best Buy should swap it out for you.

If you haven't already figured it out...when the movie is playing go into options menu on the ps3 by pressing the triangle. Then go to audio options. You should be able to change it that way. I had the same problem it would let me control the audio menu with my remote.

Rented BD Rescue Dawn from netflix and my PS3 wouldnt even load the disc. Returned it for another one. Same problem. And my firmwareis up to date. Same thing happened with The Assasination of Jesse James by the coward robert ford. The 2nd one they sent worked though. The first one gave me an error code.:mad:

i had the same problem and its because of the menus i think

its really hard to see what you're selecting

but if you do it through the audio options like the other guy said it'll work
