First off let me thank any who can help. This site was helpful in picking the units out so I thought what better place to find help. I have always bought Theater in a box units before so I thought I would upgrade and purchased separate units. I have a Sony STR-DG910 for my reciever, Onkyo SKS-HT540 for the speakers, Sony DVP-NS700H for the standard DVD player and a Sony PS3 for BD all are connected with HDMI cables. The problem is I set it all up and ran the auto calibration and I am really disappointed in the sound level. As for hearing sound out of all the speakers I can, but in order to even come close to my last Sony HTIB unit the receiver must be up well over half way. Did I do something wrong in the setup or did I get a bad unit? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I read all the reviews and they made it sound like this setup should have "rocked the house".
