Anyone know whether the TVIX boxes support vertical stretch necessary for CIH with an anamorphic lens? You can pick two aspect ratios, but I don't see any stretch or special vertical zoom feature that would be helpful.

I've gotten around this by changing the TV aspect ratio (in the TViX setup). It works but yeah, it would be nice to have a button to do this rather then needing to go into the setup menu...

What about the zoom feature?

Dunno. The button on the TViX doesn't do the things I'd... nothing actually. But always chalked that up to all the "auto" cofig stuff that happens in HDMI. Don't play with the TV one because then I'd need to touch another remote. I'm lazy, but maybe this would do the same thing...

Anyway. Some things I get are stretched to be the whole screen but need the black bars top and bottom to look right... that's when I do the 4:3 thing and all looks good. I think that is what he was asking about anyway...
