I considering the following subs for my 5.1 system. I dont have a lot to spend and need to stay below the $200 mark. These are what Im considering.....
Klipsch Synergy KSW-10
Polk Audio PSW303
Polk Audio PSW12
Sony SA-W3000
Polk Audio PSW10
Any suggestions as to which one would be bes??, or perhaps something else entirely but I must stay around $200 or below. My room is about 15x13 with a high ceiling.

I think this looks really good for $159
SCAMP-10 (http://www.tweakcityaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12)

From initial reports, the Scamp will smoke all those others. It appears to be a "real" subwoofer. The question is, when?

If you can wait the scamp looks to be a excellent choice, if you don't want to wait then the Velodyne VX10 is probably you best choice < $200. If you can to $200 + shipping then the Bic H-100 is also an excellent choice.

Need opinions of low end subs
Nothing posted so far here is really low end? what do you define as low end? I define low end as anything under 20 Hz :D
Those are good offerings for under $200 but still you will not get true low end.

Thanks for the advice guys. I probably will be too impatient to wait for the scamp but I will look at your other suggestions.

Check your local Circuit City for the Velodyne VRP-1200 which is currently being clearanced out. People have been picking up floor models for $150-170. Not bad for a $360 sub.
The MTX 12' sub at Circuit City is a great deal also.
