I have a 4gb usb flash drive that I have recorded some video from my satellite receiver.--- it will playback on my satellite receiver. But when I try to view it on my computer- it says that it is not supported. Is there a program that I can download to view this video?

of course you know it depends on the format of the file.

You can determine the format with many tools, one such is MediaInfo on SourceForge. There are also several video players which support a very large number of formats, one such is VideoLan or VLC.

without knowing the format, YMMV a lot!
