I have been having a difficult time trying to find the right seating for my existing home theatre. I bought an inexpensive recliner sofa from LazyBoy and now it feels like I am sinking to the floor every time I sit on it, even though it has only been two years.

So, I am looking for seating that is firm, comfortable and supportive, for a long movie.

I have hit just about every store near me, and have researched just about every site you can imagine. I have sat on the Berklines and they are not very firm, and I am not thrilled with the construction. I have also tried Flexsteel, which has a theatre seating line, and is actually pretty firm, but does not have the power feature I would like to have. I even looked at the Elite seating, but don't have $14K to spend.

So, needless to say, I am getting pretty frustrated. I am just looking for a nice firm leather three seat alternative to what I have. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried Palliser? I had the opportunity to sit in every model at the High Point Furniture Market a few weeks ago. They are priced a little bit lower than Berklines, are all pretty firm and built solidly and have many options with power, covers, etc. You may have a problem finding a local dealer to go and sit in them, though.

If Palliser is firmer and cheaper than Berkline, how come no one has figured out how to do a Powerbuy for them yet?
