Okay my PS3 and 360 are running to my Pioneer VSX1017 via hdmi then to my DLP(hdmi) and all work fine. My cable box is running straight to my tv via hdmi and works fine.
Now I added a PJ and I am using a Monster Cable coupler and have to manually switch sources. Which was okay until I upgraded my cable box yesterday to the Hdmi version. I had to take it off the receiver cause I was getting a "HDMI BLOCKED" message when viewing through my PJ. Running sraight to it works fine but through the reciever it gives me the error.
And now through the receiver to the PJ my PS3 shows nothing but the 360 does?
I upgraded all my cables to monster cables and I thought it would be fine but it isnt. The only thing I could think of is the length of the cable to PJ is 35ft(bluejeans). That for some strange reason, running through the reciever then through the coupler is to much for my HD cable box and PS3, but why not the 360?..
Eitherway chime in...
I am thinking of bypassing the receiver and getting a splitter 4x2 that is equalized or w/e its called..I saw one on monoprice but I read a couple of negative reviews and I am skeptical. What would you do?
