I just bought a Pioneer 1150Hd and the manual talks about PIP and Twin Screen yet does not do a good job of explaining how to set it up.

I have an HD cable box and an A/V system. Not planning to use attached speakers.

Question:
How do i set it up to work with my A/V system since I will not be usign the speakers on the TV.

It sounds like I need two seperate sources for the PIP to work.

Does anyone know the answer to this.

Does your A/V system accept HDMI? If it does I would run HDMI from the cable box to the A/V receiver and then HDMI from the A/V receiver to the 1150Hd.

If your A/V receiver does not have HDMI, I would run HDMI directly to the 1150Hd for video and run either coaxial or optical audio from the cable box to the A/V reciever for audio.
