Hey,
I currently sit about 10 feet from my fronts and center and was thinking about getting new speakers. I currently use the sony sf series and was thinking about upgrading the polk monitor 50 or 60s and adding a polk cs center as well. My question or problem is this pushing it for such a small room. Im just looking for the best sound on my budget but I fear that this would just be over doing it. What do you think?

There are speakers that work better "nearfield". But 10' is not "nearfield". There are speakers made for really large spaces and greater distances. But that's not the 10' in your den, either. So, the 10' distance is irrelevant. That's not that uncommon a listening distance, really.

What do you think?

I think you should find a way to listen to the speakers you mention and decide if they sound better than what you have. Then, decide if the improvement is worth the price.
