Hi All! I recently purchased a LG HD-DVD/Bluray hybrid drive for my computer, and I run the cyberlink ultra software. 2 different versions, one for Bluray, and one for HD-DVD. My question is this, all my equipment including my monitor is full HD and HDCP compliant. When I go to run my display resolution at 1900x1080 the movie comes out very strectched. the only way the aspect ration looks right is when I have it displayed in my normal resolution which is 1280x1024. So I'm wondering if you all might have some insight you would be willing to share with me. System Specs are: AMD Phenom quad core processor, nvidia Geforce 8500GT, and Samsung 245BW 24" widescreen display 16:10 aspect ratio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would hope that is something simple like monitor settings...

Maybe try a factory reset on the monitor while displaying 1920x1080?

edit - what happens if you set your desktop resolution to 1920x1080? Does it get stretched that way as well?

My desktop resolution is controlled by my video card. That is how I adjust the resolution and it is reflected on the monitor. How would I reset my monitor? Just out of curiosity?

There should be a menu button on the monitor, in the menu one of the options should be 'Factory Reset' or 'Defaults' or something like that.

Basically it will force it to auto-config itself for the current resolution, should be very easy to try and then undo if you don't like the results.
