Purchased a new Samsung LN37A550 and a Samsung V9800 DVD Player. Both support Anynet+ but when I pluged them in, even though it saw each other it wouldn't connect. Finally turned off auto-detect and used it standard but the first DVD I tried was very choppy. Is this because my cables I assume are not HDMI 1.3a?

This is the cable I have, it says its high performance.

I am also having problem using my Samsung LN46A550 and DVD-F1080 via Anynet+. I keep getting no signal/check signal cable message. I was connecting using the Inspire HDMI 1.3b cable purchased from Amazon.com. Anybody knows/has a fix for it?
Besides, the PQ from the above components via HDMI is NOT any better compare to the old audio (red, white) / video (yellow) cable. Is this normal?
Any input/suggestion is greatly appreciated.
