View Full Version : Eyes Wide Shut (Corrected) mpyw 05-02-08, 09:23 PM I've order a copy of Eyes Wide Shut from WHV with a corrected info at the back. What's the different with the original released? Phantom Stranger 05-02-08, 09:28 PM The only correction is a packaging difference. The first EWS release said it contained both the R rated and the unrated cuts on the back. The disc itself only contains the unrated version. I believe the corrected version merely deletes any mention of the R rated cut on the back of the package. The disc itself has not changed. paul? 05-02-08, 10:33 PM The "correction" hardly seems worth it, but I suppose it avoids a potential lawsuit from someone claiming that the unrated version damaged their fragile psyche. miata 05-03-08, 12:33 AM The "correction" hardly seems worth it, but I suppose it avoids a potential lawsuit from someone claiming that the unrated version damaged their fragile psyche. Now that you mention it, I haven't been the same since watching that version.;) mpyw 05-05-08, 01:51 AM Got the copy today....it comes with a sticker in front saying "NEWLY REMASTERED features ALL NEW documentaries"...hmmm mattldm 05-13-08, 07:41 PM whats the difference in the movie itself? extra scenes? ressom 05-13-08, 09:13 PM whats the difference in the movie itself? extra scenes? Trust me... the unrated version (the one on BD[corrected and uncorrected]) is all you want and what the great Mr. Kubrick wanted you to see. |
