Getting new velodyne DD-10. Setting up my electrical circuits. Basically trying to figure out the max current draw @ 120 volts of subwoofer. My reciever is 700 watts rms, plasma is ~500 watts, and sub is 1250 watts. It is noted that sub is Class D thus probably isn't straight ohms law here. I was thinking of doing the following

Plasma + Sony DG1100 on same circuit
Velodyne on its own circuit
Other Plugs in the room on their own circuit.

Basically don't want things dimming out during dynamic parts of movies or gaming. Anyone else to advise. Or am I doing overkill here with the separate circuits.

Here are actual measurements I took.

My lights are on the same 15amp circuit, they dim a bit on power up but other than that no problems during usage.

I metered my vacuum cleaner it does 8A cont. which is 3x as much as the sub.

How far away form the sub is the SPL meter?
