Hi All,

I have 2 soundcards in my HTPC, both have digital output. Also, I have 2 sets of audio system, one set is 5.1 channel AV system, the other set is a more decent stereo with dac + integrated amp.

I am thinking how to make use of the decend stereo system during movie playback which contains AC3/DTS 5.1 multi-channels audio.

Is it possible to output 2 sets of digital signal during movie playback?

(1) htpc digital output1 --(2 channels PCM)--> DAC --> integrated amp --> front speakers

(2) htpc digital output2 --(ac3/dts 5.1 channels)--> av amp --> surround speakers + LFE
