Hi All, I have an ethernet capable Denon AVR-4306 and a NAS with 1TB of storage space. Currenty I stream to the Denon using its inbuilt Network Audio player...its pretty limited though, and the interface is very clunky.
I have two Xbox Media Centres that also interface with the NAS to provide streaming audio, but of course this requires a TV/Projector to be switched on to navigate.
Two questions - can anyone suggest a simple and future proof front end (must support uncompressed formats, optical output and have an intuitive interface)?
And can anyone suggest the optimum way of making/managing playlists and methods of making these universal across a home network consisting of the above items, a few ipods, blackberries and who knows what else tomorrow?
Be interested to hear your thoughts...
